This ymvk mb cable is flame-retardant and has a KEMA quality mark. The cable is suitable for use in tubes, ducts or the ground.

Application:

• Power supply and control cables in low voltage installations up to 1000 V, suitable for all rooms specified in NEN 1010, especially where there are high fire safety requirements.
• Fixed mounting in sight, fixing by means of brackets or on raised saddles, or in the ground in specially designed tubes, gutters or channels.
• Suitable for use in damp areas.
• Can be installed under unfavourable conditions, such as at high ambient temperatures, and in cable bundles.
• The multicore version is mainly used as an auxiliary power cable and in measurement and control technology.

Properties:

• Suitable for a maximum continuous conductor temperature of 90°C and temporarily overloadable up to 130°C.
• The cable is flame-retardant according to IEC 60332-3 cat. C; this prevents fire propagation along the cable bundle and limits the development of smoke and aggressive gases.

Remarks:

• When cables are laid directly into the ground, VO-YMvKas mb or VG-YMvKas mb is the right choice.
• From 35 mm2 conductor cross-section, YMvK mb changes to YMvK rss mb.

  2 - 5 cores: filled to a round whole
  from 6 cores: wrapped with plastic tape.
